21st day of retirement
Heavy rain this morning...time flies. Today my 21st day of staying at home doing nothing special. Just trying my hand with long lost cooking & baking specialties which I learned from arwah emak. My mind still "berfikir2" what is the best things to do to earn a living setelah pencen ni... do something that I like, do something not so taxing & stressful...
I like cooking, baking, sawing, drawing, writing, reading, travelling..........Out of these "likes", sure there is something that I could do to earn a living!! Think!think, think..& do it right away!!

hard earn money
I always believe that every time you earn something after your hand work, (hasil titik peluh sendiri) it is not wrong to reward yourself with somethings that can make you happy..
Yesterday, my son's Affan came home with broad smile telling me that he bought a new hand phone "Samsung Galaxi". I saw his face full of satisfaction' as he bought it out of his hard earn money; working at Genting Call centre, for the last 2 months!..My hubby made a fuss of it...but to me its ok. I realized that he had a determination & goal setting in getting what he wanted. He worked for it & he save for it...That value within him; makes me proud of him; the same with my other children.
As a mother I never buy expensive present for my children. I can't afford to do so. The most expensive would be around RM100...From small they were thought to be thrifty & value the "money"...
My philosophy ...if you want something, you work for it...it will be more satisfying when it comes from your own hard earn money!!
